Hey everyone......Here are some pictures of our first day in Belgium. We took a drive to the town of Bastogne where the Battle of the Buldge was fought by the 101st Airborne Rangers. There is a memorial dedicated to the U.S. soldiers that fought and won that part of the war. We went through a museum that talked about this battle being the most critical part of the war. It was really cool!
We found a little cafe to eat lunch at and they had to find the only staff memeber that spoke english to help us.....cuz we don't speak no french! :) It was great! Enjoy!

Sir Adam Dunyon: Is there someone else up there we can talk to?
French Waiter: No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.
make sure you have some FRENCH fries and some FRENCH toast!
SOOOOOOO wish I were with you!!!! I'd at least be able to order a crepe!! :) It looks like you're already having a blast - keep the pics coming so I can live vicariously. :) And Matt sent that other post...can you tell he's REALLY bored at work!?!
I second what Jill said! My French is a little rusty but I am sure I could order something delish! How fun, what a great trip so far and keep sending pictures please - I need more green in my life - or at least to look at! Love you both!
I had some FRENCH fries with a cheeseburger yesterday. Came all the way to Belgium to have that! Really, I couldn't read anything else on the menu....so I went safe.
